Burlington is the second project we have completed for Qestral Corporation Ltd, a developer of new generation retirement villages.
Earthworks Contract
We were awarded the Earthworks works contract in 2017, works included:
- Filling the Care Centre pad to enable swift start for building contractors
- Successful management and treatment of dirty water on this environmentally sensitive site
- Silt filling very moisture sensitive areas. We worked small areas mitigating risk.
- Excavating ponds
Burlington Civils Contract
We were awarded the Stage 1 Civils works contract in early 2019, works included:
- Carparks and care centre
- Sewer
- Stormwater
- Service in fracture
- Kerb and Channel
- Roading and Footpaths
Stormwater Infrastructure Contract
This contract included:
- Pond construction
- Lining of ponds with GSL
- Construction of an extensive stormwater network in soft subgrade conditions
- Managing active springs and redirecting flows
- Constructing fish baffles
- Installing anchor blocks for floating wetlands
- Landscaping rock placement
