We have developed over 600 sections in this project so far.

The earthworks stage of this project began with significant sediment control challenges, using our capabilities we mitigated any adverse effects to the environment through a well pointing system and discharged clean water from the site, having a positive impact on surrounding waterways.

Amidst tight deadlines 110,000m3 of material was imported to construct the gravel embankments and compacted to 80% MDD, peat areas were extracted, existing contaminated soil was removed, impact rolling and vibration testing was completed to improve the ground from TC2 to TC1 and 130m of 1600mm diameter culverts were installed.

Our drainage crew has installed a vacuum sewer system throughout all stages with very few errors giving our crew a great reputation as one of the top vacuum sewer pit installers in Christchurch. A gravity storm water system carries storm water through the site east to west, making provisions for secondary flow paths.

Our roading crews constructed kerb and channel, parking bays, footpaths and reserve footpaths, roundabouts with decorative stone works, berms and roads all to a very high quality level and very few errors.

Throughout this project we continue to have a close working relationship with the client and many other internal and external stakeholders.
